Using the beauty of photography and the power of storytelling, we create unique audiovisual pieces from script to post-production. Our content addresses new times with creativity and art, engaging different audiences and promoting human rights.

Over the past fourteen years, Apus has developed documentary projects that transcend borders:  “Àkàrà – a struggle against religious intolerance”, a film financed by Ancine Brasil, awarded at the Brazilian Design Award (BDA) and is available on Amazon Prime; “Brasilianos – Young musicians from Neojibá”, a musical documentary selected in the First Documentary Contest of the Brazilian Justice TV; and “Water Kids, the Cinema Novo market” a documentary co-produced with Obá Cacauê, awarded at the 11th edition of REcine – International Archive Film Festival in Brazil.

Music is one of the tools we also use to express what we think and struggle for. “Pachamama”, a clip by the Brazilian band Baianasystem, combines voices, instruments and images to talk about our planet;  and “La Felicidad” award-winning video clip by Claudia Chávez addresses women’s oppression. The project was selected for audiovisual and cinematographic activity by the Ministry of Culture of Peru (2018) and also named the best video clip of 2019 by the Rock Achorao magazine.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we were invited to participate in the national human rights coordinator’s campaign by creating and producing three videos about corruption, violence against women, and unfair work.

“A Nuestra Edad” is a documentary series based on storytelling about people over 60 who discovered things that changed the way they live.
